Israel's new ambassador to Azerbaijan visits Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs

Israel’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Ronen Krausz, visited the Alley of Martyrs, AJMEDIA reports citing the Israeli Embassy.

“Ambassador paid tribute to the Alley of Honor, where he laid flowers at the graves of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and distinguished ophthalmologist Professor Zarifa Aliyeva. He then honored the fallen at the Alley of Martyrs, paying his respects to those who gave their lives for the nation. The Ambassador also visited the grave of Albert Agarunov, the Jewish National Hero of Azerbaijan, remembering his bravery and sacrifice with deep respect. This visit stands as a powerful reminder of the shared values, memory, respect, and gratitude that unite Israel and Azerbaijan.,” the embassy statement said.
